Create an document in your Google Drive and share it with me

STEP 1 - CREATE a Google account IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.

  1. Go to Google.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Click Sign UP
  4. Complete the information requested to create your new account. If available use your full name in the account name.

STEP 2 - SIGN INTO GOOGLE and CREATE AN ESSAY
  1. Go to your Google DRIVE
  2. Create a new folder for the class
  3. Title it: Computer Applications 1
  4. Go into that folder
  5. Create a new document
  6. Title it: About Me Essay
  7. Type an essay following these instructions and share it with me:
  • Paragraph 1 - Write an essay telling me about yourself in a minimum of 6 sentences. . Tell me about your family, ethnic background, your hobbies, interests, what you did this summer, your goals this year, future goals and what kind of student you are, etc.
  • Paragraph 2 - Examine the different Google apps - Pick four different apps of interest , name and describe what they would be used for.

STEP 3 - SHARE YOUR ESSAY WITH ME:
  1. Click on the SHARE button in sight.
  2. At the bottom of the window under INVITE PEOPLE type: buterawork@gmail.com - change from edit to COMMENT permissions

STEP 4 - Go to the TODAY'S WORK page and do the next assignment for the day's class.
